The CVBB is a booster organization comprised of parents/guardians of current CV Showband members.  We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month in the HS Band Room.   The schedule is modified for holidays.   We use these meetings to discuss preformance schedules, fundraisers, band camp, band trip and other important info.  Attendance is not required but is strongly encouraged.  

All CVBB Families are expected to volunteer at our annual band festival and at least one other event(band camp, game/parade chaperones, fundraiser chairs).  All chaperones/volunteers must have clearances. You must do the following according to Pennsylvania ACT 153. As of 6/10/2015, fees are waived for these requests in PA.

1) Criminal History Record Information obtained online from the PA State Police (FREE):

2. Child Abuse Clearance obtained online through the PA Department of Public Welfare (FREE):

3. If you have been a resident of Pennsylvania during the entirety of the previous ten-year period, complete form "ACT 153 VOLUNTEER AFFIDAVIT" affirming that you have not been convicted of any crime, in another state, similar to the convictions disqualifying a person in PA. All CVBB parents/guardians are asked to join our Band on the BAND app.  This is our primary means of communication, as well as where our calendar, volunteer sign-ups, fundraiser details, documents and forms are housed.   You need an email invite or QR code to join.  If you are a CVBB member, and you haven't received an invite, please email cvbb@chartiersvalleyshowband.org
